HärMedJämt is a swedish folk music group formed in 2016 and consists of Micke Löfroth, Agneta Wiberg, Janne Levander and Bosse Olofsson. Our music derives from the Swedish central counties Härjedalen, Medelpad and Jämtland, which give our name. The music varies from traditional beautiful and calm polska tunes to intensive dancing tunes, as well as directly from our souls and harts. It is coloured by the huge forests, wild rivers and widespread peatlands forming the landscape of the three counties. We use violins, guitar, bag pipe, mandola, mouth harp, flute etc playing tunes with a long history transferred through musicians from the eigthteens and ninetheens centuries until today.
